Where the Buffalo roam...

Former Miami Dolphins Linebacker Coach, George Edwards was hired as the Florida Gators defensive coordinator in January, but has now forgone that job to accept the same position for the Buffalo Bills.  Edwards said he will replace Buffalo's usual 4-3 scheme with a 3-4 scheme, meaning the entire AFC East will now compete for Nose Tackles and bigger linebackers and elite pass-rushers.

Edwards was the a Dolphins assistant coach for the past 6 seasons in Miami.

Traitor! Wow! Florida to Buffalo. Good luck with that. LOL

    Some additional Dolphins news.

Brian Biggane, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown said there has been no progress in contract talks with the Dolphins. Brown would be a restricted free agent if there is no collective bargaining agreement.

Brian Biggane, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ronnie Brown (foot) is still not allowed to run after undergoing surgery on his foot 11 weeks ago but said things are going well. "I don't know how this things works. It was a weight-bearing injury, so I couldn't put any weight on it for a while. But now I'm out here walking around and everything feels pretty good. Everything is going real well," Brown said.

Brian Biggane, of the Palm Beach Post, reports Miami Dolphins CB Vontae Davis (wrist) said he will be ready for the team's offseason workouts and expects to switch to a smaller cast soon for the broken wrist he suffered in Week 17.

  2. Well I learned a lot about this contract stuff last year, and it's not
surprising that they haven't talked to Ronnie yet....same time last year
they hadn't talked to Crowder's agent either.

The contract status with Ronnie doesn't bother me at this time. Just reporting some recent news I came across.

  5. If RB isn't running there is no use for any talking.  He's not going anywhere.  If I were the Dolphins I don't think I would extend him a contract until I knew if he was totally recoverd.  They will get something done when the time comes.  Unlike JP, Ronnie has never been in the dog house.  Ronnie Brown is a class act and IMO if he returns to his former self, he will get his big fat wallet.

ESPN.com reports FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer said during a radio interview that a fan heckled and spat on New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan, which promoted Ryan to use an obscene gesture toward the fan. Ryan was fined $50,000 for the incident.

I don't think Rex is being totally honest. The fan didn't spit on him, he was just letting Rex taste the burrito he was eating.

  9. Speaking of the Jets, here is proof that Pennington will be cast aside by
the Dolphins. You can't say stuff like this and expect to survive walking
onto the field during pregame warmups:

  14. Here is the thing that KILLS me about the browser stuff...I use firefox, but then there are places where I am FORCED to use IE because they doesn't recognize me any other way.  This would be my bank and the accounting firm we use.   Why is this?  Is there a reason these financial places only use IE?  Can't everyone just get along?  lol

  16. I don't see anything wrong with what he said.  He didn't say he WANTED to play for the Jets, only that if he got the best oportunity from them that he would.  He even said it would be hard for him to do it. It's a business.  I left a construction company about 11 years ago to work for there biggest rival / competitor worked there for about 9 years and then went back to the first company.  It was tough, because the competition breeds dislike but I had to pay the mortgage.  After a while you adapt back.  If he took a job with the Jets again, he would bond with them again and then would root against us.  It's wierd, but that's how people are wired.

  18. Rockphin, that's pure logic, but logic goes out the window when we're
    talking Jets/Dolphins.

  20. If you use MS for anything it will have a dollar bill behind the logic.  Your bank is using MS for all it's software therefore IE doesn't work with firefox for there application.  Making you use IE and look at all those pop ads you can't block, because they programed the advertising into IEs browser.  Remember that MS will get paid for that advertising that you can't block.
