  1. Tin, do you think Zach's sister is taller than Zach?

  2. Dunno, but how drunk is JT at the end of that video when Katina is talking? He's either madly in love with her or he's looking at the back of her head as point of focus so he doesn't throw up.

Tin, do you know what Johnston's absence from OTAs were?

"Johnston is the first casualty of the 'Turk' in 2010."

    Tin,

    What is the 'Turk???'

I'm going to go out on a limb & say that Aubrey Acquino was the best part of that fishing interview. Yummy...

BTW--The site looks cool like this.

Tin, the top of the page doesn't answer my question. Johnston missed all of OTAs and now he was cut. I was asking you if you knew why he missed all of OTAs?

  7. TTE, sorry I thought you meant TODAY. I was not aware that he missed all of OTAs...in fact I'm pretty sure he was there at least once during open media days...look here you'll see he was lined up on 2nd team:

  8. The Turk is the guy who delivers the news that you will no longer be a member of the team. The Turk can be anybody: a scout, an equipment manager, the player personnel director.

The term comes from the 17th century Turkish warriors who'd sneak up on their enemy in the middle of the night and cut their heads off!

  9. TTE, even better than my report - look at the video at the bottom of the same post and you'lll see Johnston practicing (#57) - so wherever you read that he wasn't is w-r-o-n-g!

Tin, Omar and/or Mike reported that Johnston was absent quite a bit and said he had received an excused absence from the team. Maybe he did make one or two OTAs but they definitely reported him missing 4 or 5 in a row. Now he's been cut so I was wondering if one had to do with the other

WHP, what profile are you using to get your name in there? I keep getting an error.

According to New York Daily News columnist Gary Myers, Darrelle Revis' actions on the minicamp practice field Monday "embarrassed" and "humiliated" Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
Ryan apparently bought Revis' "lightheadedness" excuse for sitting out practice snaps. "That would disappoint me, sure," Ryan said when informed there might be more to Revis' skipping of reps. "I believe in Darrelle, so when he tells me he's lightheaded or he's got a hamstring, I'll believe him. ... We have a football team. It's not about one individual. It's about the whole team."

This is fantastic. Keep it up the good work Darelle!!!

  16. UK you around? i wanted to ask what the word is over there on mr green and his hamburger helper like goalie gloves. LOL

to be honest, i thought the guy was pretty stand up about coming out and talking to the media afterwards. i hope the US and England make it thru, would suck you guys not getting thru based on that goal

  17. That's what happens when you put a Scot in an England jersey...although to be fair there have been some incredible goalie flubs so far in the WC. The Slovenia goal versus Algeria looked like the goalie had never played in goal before, he totally effed up - and the Italy goal vs Paraguay was about as easy a goal as you'll ever see.

Maybe the WC ball is making these goalies dizzy?

  18. tin,

i hear that, there has been so pretty bad keeping at the WC. did you see the german/australia game. i know it was just australia but germany looked damn good.

  19. I didn't see that game, I was at an event and there was a TV there so I saw it was 4-0 near the end - I heard Australia was playing with 10 men tho...

  20. yeah, one got sent off in the second half when it was 2 or 3 to nil. not that it would of mattered, they could of been playing with 15 men and germany would of still beat them.

  21. ffr - quality goalkeeping huh? As I said on a previous blog, I think both teams will still go through. For now, Green gets a free pass, but if we go out .....

  22. uk,

maybe he needs some different gloves. did you see the size of the ones he had on, they looked like the hamburger helper hand.

i hope you are right, would like seeing both teams get thru, although my pick so far is germany. i cant wait to see the portugal and brazil games tonight. i have a feeling we maybe looking at a germany/brazil final
