Nothing is less exciting than the first pre-season game after a lockout on a team that lacks a lot of depth in many areas. Yes, I've looked at the roster/depth chart, and there are so many holes on the Dolphins I can't bring myself to be hopeful just yet. Granted, I started the previous 3 seasons very optimistically and they didn't end well, so maybe starting off with lower expectations will result in greater rewards from a personal standpoint.
So, in consideration that this game will probably include our starters for about 15 minutes of game time, I'm not going to spend too much time worrying about it. I have other things to worry about, like my new 2011 Depth Chart Template which now resides at the top of the page as the first work I've done on this site in 6 months. However, it's not currently working as planned due to the fact I can't figure out how to get the interactive aspect of it to work in blogger. However, if you click on the download button on the bottom, you can open the .pdf in acrobat/acrobat reader and see how I cleverly made it so that as you scroll over a position, the players' names appear. If anyone out there knows how to get these interactive form fields to work on the web, please let me know.
Also, now would be a good time for readers to alleviate my anxiety over the depth on this team. Do you consider any of the 2nd/3rd string players to be potential starters later in the season or next year?
