13...you seem excited??? LOL LOVED it and I am still excited and not able to sleep....guess that is better than the last couple of weeks when I was to pissed off to sleep. I thought overall it was a great performance. I was just wondering if anyone noticed was our coverage over the mid field better or was Buffalo not smart enough to try to exploit that weakness? Also, was rotating Davis and Smith a new thing for this game? I don't remember it from previous games. And finally Tin has been right all along ( was there any doubt?? wellllll maybe about ginn some still remains.. ;) but Wake looked great out there. Now granted the Bills line was young yadayadayada or so the announcers say, but I still think he seemed to have a ton or presense...no? Finally Henne did awesome. Not big numbers, but kept the game flowing. Now imagine if he would have hit some of those long passes. Here is to hoping next week against the Jets!!!
guys in 10 drives, henne led us and we scored in 5 of those drives. In his previous games he led us in 4 drives and we scored in 2 of those. so in total we have scored in 7of those 14 drives. this is pretty amazing stuff, gotta feel good about having a new leader.
When the Dolphins eliminate the mistakes they can be really tough to beat, as we saw today. We saw their calling card this afternoon smash mouth football at it's finest. That is the idenity of this team. Go Phins !!
We couldn't have asked for a better game. Just what the doctor ordered. Henne did what he needed to do. Make a few plays and don't lose the game. This was a great team effort and hopefully a confidence builder for everyone.
How cool is it that we've finally committed to the running game? Maybe the media will start to realize that the Wildcat isn't a gimmick or trickery and it doesn't need the threat of a pass to be effective. It's all based on the big guys up front and this group is starting to maul people. We run inside, outside, left or right. Ronnie and Ricky are finally being used the right way. Good stuff! :-D
