This is exciting, I've added up the scores based on all the questions besides the #3 question which was which rookie will be signed next.
There is a leader, and a close pack behind this leader but due to question #3 being worth 6 points, any of 7 entrants have a shot at taking the top prize.
Quite a few of the answers were either hilarious or disappointing. I'll quote some of the best later when we have the results, but I thought I'd let you know that I will be able to announce a winner pretty much immediately upon news of a rookie-signing.

ReplyDeleteSorry. It was the most annoying of all the questions. I don't do well with the names/faces of people I actually know, or should know, so a stranger is just beyond. Maybe because I'm used to looking at photo's with no faces on them! lol

ReplyDeleteI'm not good with faces either, especially when they are grimacing like that to clear a high-jump bar. I pasted it into powerpoint and rotated it and pasted players mugshots next to it to check and I still wasn't confident! My guess was Omar's model friend Brandon London, but I'm probably way off?

Well I kind of thought the high-jump would provide a clue to most people. He's also wearing a uniform. He also has a certain physique. Also you can usually narrow it down by deducing who it ISN't based on what players faces you ARE familiar with.
ReplyDeleteI knew it would be challenging but didn't think it would be so hard for everyone. 3 people got it right, but I got some entertaining wrong answers like Kendall Langford all 290lbs of him) and Brian Hartline (who is white).
Speaking of Hartline, he was a wrong answer several times, including the wildcat question. Don't you guys know that Ohio State are the Buck-Eyes?
even if you thought that OSU were the Wildcats, wouldn't that make Ginn a wildcat too?

ReplyDeleteB*gger. It was Patrick Turner. I thought at 6' 5" it would be him, but the face seemed to match London's better and he was 6' 4". Oh well. I didn't want to get a score over 50% anyway!

C'mon now. I suck with face too. But Tin is right. Does the fact that the guy is doing a high jump really make it obvious only to me? If I am right, the guy in the picture is the answer to more than one question as well. Lets just say if i could jump over 7 ft. than i would be getting my picture taken doing a high jump as well.

ReplyDeleteHey I think I gave you Hartline, maybe ? He's white ? You don't see many skill position players being white !! They are more or less the grunt guys, for example look at the Dolphins O-line. :)

ReplyDeleteherdfan, you got your Pennington video. Did you pick Jake Long? seemed pretty obvious to me. I had asked Omar a couple of weeks ago what his NEW signature question was going to be but he didn't respond and I guess he is sticking with the old one for now. Should be really interesting when he accidentally asks that question of someone he already asked.
