What A Fucking Douche!

Finally happened, first F-bomb on Tin's Fins.

I've NEVER liked Jimmy Buffet because he was an a-hole to me the one time I met him (I was 14 years old at the time). He was physically and emotionally abusive of his 'posse' and let's face it, the guy just rips off himself on every song.

But seriously, what a fucking douche!

  2. Now this is disappointing.  I can't tell you the times, when I was younger of course, that I drunkenly sang along with the 'You Had to be There' album/cd.
I have since given up singing!  lol

  4. This is what happens when you have a billionaire owner who thinks he knows football. Buffet IS a douchebag and won't be the last one we real dolphans will have to put up with. That's why BP had a walkaway with pay clause in his contract.

  5. Tinshaker,

I have, at times, responded in kind to your posts at Sun Sentinel, more specifically with Omar.  This is my first time visiting your site and I must admit, FINALLY, we agree on this.  Jimmy Buffet is everything that is wrong with the music industry.  Lets take a really bad song with a backing track that sounds like the organ nobody bought from a mall in the 80's and combine it with 5th grade lyrics (written on the bus)  He fucking sucks so bad and I cant believe any idiot would give him a dime for the crap he plays.  He is like the pet rock!  Who the hell is buying it?  Im so glad I have never met him and I am petrified of that stupid ass song he wrote.  A pirate looks at 40........the total number of people who are happy with him being a part of the dolphins.

how's it going?   Thanks for the visit.

Yeah I don't 'get' the Buffet love.  You can go to any dive bar on the weekend and hear similar quality music being played by a local band.

The fact that he feels he can just keep re-writing his own songs over and over just proves how much he puts into it the first, second, and third time he writes it.  The music means nothing to him, he's just after the money and the lifestyle.
